Our Services
Call us immediately if you have an eye emergency! We will accommodate our schedule to help you! If we are closed and you cannot reach a local optometrist go to a hospital for assessment.
Eye emergencies include:
Sudden Vision Changes: Any sudden blurriness, double vision, or partial/complete loss of vision.
Physical Trauma: Cuts, scratches, or punctures on the eye or eyelid.
Foreign Objects: Objects (especially metal shards or glass) embedded in the eye.
Chemical Exposure: Splashes of chemicals or hazardous substances in or around the eyes.
Retinal Symptoms: A sudden burst of new light flashes, or a sudden appearance of numerous floaters/dark spots in your field of vision.
Severe Physical Signs: An eye sticking out of its socket, pupils of unusual size/shapes, or severe, unexplained eye pain often accompanied by headaches or nausea.
Emergency appointments need to call the clinic directly 506-384-2020 to be triaged by staff for the doctor. If our clinic is closed please seek help at the nearest emergency room/hospital.
Contact lens prescriptions can be different than eye glasses prescriptions so the prescription may need to be modified and verified. We then walk you through safe insertion and removal techniques. Discuss eye hygiene and safe contact lens practices to ensure success! FREE trial lenses will be given to you to try in ‘real-life’ before you order so that you know this is right for you. You must be able to demonstrate safe insertion and removal by the end of the 30 minute consultation or rebook a second fitting appointment (eye safety first).
Routine Eye Exam includes optomap photos, autorefraction, visual fields, refraction, binocular vision status, interocular eye pressure, pupils, slit lamp assessment of anterior and posterior ocular health and dilation if indicated or requested.

The best time to use this thick, comfortable gel drop is at bedtime. You brush your teeth before bed because you make less saliva; you should also instill a gel drop in your eyes because you make less tears during sleep. This will keep your eyes comfortable and hydrated.
Your dentist recommends the best toothbrush and tooth paste, your hair stylist recommends the best shampoo and conditioner. In my expert opinion, I am recommending this as the best drop for my patients. It is non-preserved, has anti-inflammatory properties and hydrates the eyes up to 4 hours after instillation.
This comfortable, reusable warming eye mask delivers consistent, therapeutic heat to the eyelids. It helps warm and loosen meibomian (oil) gland blockages, improve oil flow, and support relief from symptoms associated with dry eye disease. Heat in the microwave for 20 seconds and sit back, relax with it on the lids for 5 to 10 minutes. Followed by gently massaging lids with eyes closed to express the oil from the glands for a thicker, healthier tear layer.
